The DAFM Summer School for the third intake of DAFM students was held from 30th June to 4th July 2025 at AgroBioTech Research Centre of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovak Republic, under the Auspices of the Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra Klaudia Halászová. The theme of the summer school was “Foods for health in 21st century“ and the programme held was a comprehensive educational event focusing on sustainable agriculture, food science, environmental microbiology and innovative technologies in the agricultural sector. The programme featured a series of lectures, workshops, guided tours and networking activities involving renowned universities and research centres from across Europe and beyond. The summer school also included a field excursion to Biocentrum s.r.o. and Ecofarm in Želiezovce, where participants gained practical insights into the practises of organic farming, sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly farm management.
